Leigh Edwards

Leigh Edwards is a pastor, speaker, writer, and mum based in Mandurah, Western Australia, where she leads alongside her husband, Josh, at Eastlake Church. Since stepping into leadership in 2019, Leigh has become known for her honest, hope-filled communication and her passion for helping people encounter Jesus in the middle of real life.

Whether preaching on stage, writing from a café by the ocean, or sitting beside someone in their hardest season, Leigh carries a deep desire to remind people that God is still present in pain, disappointment, grief, fear, and waiting.

Her book, Even Though, was born out of her family’s deeply personal journey following her daughter Piper’s diagnosis with 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome (DiGeorge Syndrome). Through years of unanswered questions, hospital stays, heartbreak, and unexpected miracles, Leigh discovered a faith that wasn’t built on perfect outcomes, but on the unchanging goodness of Jesus.

When she’s not leading, writing, or chasing after her girls Piper and Taya, Leigh loves painting, long walks along the beach, strong coffee, and finding quiet moments in God’s presence.

Her prayer is that every person who hears her story would discover this truth for themselves:
